Following yesterday's mission down to deepest Devon for Dave C to fit a new Jelco 750, my original arm is now up for sale.
It was a stock Techie unit from an SL1210 Mk5 (i.e. the deck and therefore arm casting are black), which was brand new (not a DJ dog) and in mint condition, which Jonnie at Audio Origami worked over:
Full top-to-tail rewire including Jonnie's own phono lead
Foam fill of the arm tube to control resonance
Complete with replacement Sumiko headshell
Would make an excellent start to someone looking to start modding their Techie on a budget.
Will also come attached to the stock height adjustment base, so this really is very easy to install.
