Deleting Mail

Moderators, please help.

How do I delete mail?.

I appear to delete current mail and not stored mail. Apparently I have 97 stored mail items which obviously effects my mail box.(keeps getting full).

Any advice appreciated.

if your saving sent messages you will need to empty that box as well
