For Sale : Goldring Eroica LX MC Cartridge

Goldring Eroica LX low output moving coil cartridge in very nice order...and plays beautifully...up-grade-itis again..frees this up for someone else to enjoy....not sure of hours...but it is in lovely order...straight and true...with as you will see in the first pic...very little use...£160.00 inc postage...

Arrived first thing. I've been curious about this cartridge for a while having a great respect for the Goldring 1xxx series. Stuck it in the Garrard 401/AT1010 and set the Schlitt Mani to MC.

I must say I'm impressed. I think it's a lovely match with the medium mass AT1010, and was set up spot on in literally 2 minutes using the AT headshell (according to My Dr Freickert). Nice balance of music and detail, nice tonally as well.

I think I'll take the Garrard through and give the combo a run on the main rig tonight and see how it fares. Bit of a sleeper this cartridge.

I've heard this cartridge in Alan's system and I think it's a very nice thing indeed. The new owner has certainly scored. Plus, as usual, all Alan's gear is very well looked after and you have no worries when you buy off him. Happy listening.
