Selling my Ion Obelisk 100 integrated amp with MM phono stage.
I have used it on and off as a useful back up amp and it sounds good. It works fine although there is a bit of noise on the left channel which one can hear in very quiet passages so it would benefit from a service or recap as it is vintage 1992.
Looking for £100 if that sounds about right for a one box integrated with MM with a good pedigree.

It has 5 line inputs plus one MM phono input which by making an internal adjustment can be converted into another line input, and it has two pairs of speaker outputs, as well as two sets of tape inputs/outputs.

Highly regarded back in the ’90s and a favourite of Joe Akroyd. It is class A/B, with a single rail architecture, rated at 60W (8ohms) output.

I understand it was designed by Richard Hay, who started out at Radfords, then later went on to Nytech / Ion Systems and recently helped start Heed Audio in Hungary.

Quite heavy (c.7Kg) so I would prefer collection from London (SW) or West Sussex (GU28) but would consider posting. Please PM me if interested. Pics available by email.
