A sad day, if you are of an age he was an important part of TV viewing back in the day and more recently on Strictly Come Dancing. Sad day :(

Poor old Brucie. Had a great life though. Things won't be the same without him, he has always been a big part of showbiz.
must have been a good old age Brucie.. Yes he was a great performer. very professional and light on his feet even as an old man when dancing(which he was very good at). Liked the lassies too;) .. nice one Bruce, you will always be fondly remembered by me.
I will never forget that Beat the Clock thing where they had to bounce a tennis ball off a drum and two (or was it three) other things. Did anyone ever do it? A born entertainer with more talent in his little fingernail than most have in their whole body. Much under-rated. Should have had a Knighthood decades ago! Bet he's giving a show upstairs right now.

RIP.
S.
He deserved his success. Although the only thing I ever watched of his was 'Play Your Cards Right'. And 'The Generation Game' when I was a kid.
'Give us a twirl, Anthea', and all that.
The U.S members probably won't know who we are talking about.
"Didn't he do well?"
RIP Brucie
The last of the truly great entertainers goes... Only Tarby is left. RIP Brucie, and thanks for the memories.

Ive first seen the news here and am very surprised because I thought he was healthy for his age and had a while to go yet.... like showbiz rejuventates someone and he kept working.
I grew up on the generation game and of course he had a career in the variety halls long before that
I like to think there is a golf match somewhere and he is still having a laugh with the usual gang.
Didnt he do well

Yup, to think he performed at Glastonbury only 4 years ago, and took it by storm... I knew he hadn't been well, though.
Marco.
