I've got that thing where one channel goes crackly or drops out occasionally.
It appears to be the input selector and clicking it between sources a few times always cures it, so it's obviously cack on the contacts.
Any way to stop this happening?

Hi Steve
It could be a dry solder joint.
Does it happen if you wiggle the banana plug/spade?

Hi Mark.
No it's defo the input selector control as sorts itself out when a switch input a couple of times and only happens when I use an input I haven't for a while

Have you had a look at the switch ?
A blast with Servisol might help.

That's not a bad idea. I'll have to lift the lid and give it a squirt.
At least it's easy with the M3. Once the top plate is off you can get to pretty much everything.
