I am looking for an electric heat gun for general diy purposes and household use.
Jobs will range from defrosting freezers, paint stripping, heat shrinking cables and removing dents from plastic bumpers on the wife's car.

I don't want to spend a fortunes on one as it will not get intensive use. Does anybody have experience of these things

I was thinking of a digitally controlled adjustable temperature one such as the Wagner HT4500, as it looks pretty good value for money.

mine is either same or very similar. i use it for shrinkwrap mostly

yeah, think there seems to be some connection. only used mine as i say for heat shrink and glue setting. good range and nicely made. that one seems to have paint scrapers too. mine might be a slightly older model
