Mission 774 tonearm

This is a difficult sale. I love this arm but recent acquisitions have caused this to be put in the cupboard.

These arms don't come up all that often and in this condition I would say it is a rarity.

The Counterweight is perfect. No sagging. It has one paddle and one bias weight. The wand is in as new condition too.

The wand has been recently rewired by Johnny at Audio Origami.

There is no play in the bearings and everything moves as smoothly as can be.

I don't think there is a better tonearm for under £500. It really is magnificent.

Alternatively, I could be interested in a DAC. It would need to have USB input. A PX could be arranged or a straight swap.

Don't forget, you'll be wanting to try a Decca sooner or later (we all do) and the 774 is ideal! :)

I would not sell that arm Oliver. I have heard what they can do on a number of TT and because they can be damped are so versatile.

Ali tait has one on a 401 with Benz gullwing and it is shockingly good!

Quite. I can't see the point in having two, particularly when one would always be superior.

I find it impossible to go backwards with SQ.
