Fantastic block this one. I've had a few since they were released and my brother still uses one.
They rid the mains of nasty DC (denoted by the word Axis), without detrimentally destroying dynamics and frequency extremes.
I also have a passive homemade block for one of my other systems that uses these sockets, it's wired internally with multiple cores of Mundorf Silver Gold and with these sockets on sounds great, beating many many commercial products.
Personally I feel for the footprint this has and the effectiveness it gives, the Powerline Axis is a Steal, even at full RRP.
