I'm a kid, I admit it. I still have a thing for 'band' t-shirts and came across this site while looking for a decent Bolt Thrower shirt! It sums up what the internet was made for IMO!

I love wearing band T shirts In metal its says who you like and where and when you seen them; almost like a badge of Honor. With the bands I like its one of the few ways they get income as generally its pretty much a struggle
I sometimes had a sense of humor with T shirts yes this is possible
I used to wear my Die Laughing T shirt to goth gigs and Disaster Area T shirt to metal gigs

I still buy and wear band T shirts..though many years ago I did my own. I made an ELP Tarkus one, Gong, Kansas, Greenslade and Hawkwind T shirts. Sadly the white ones have discoloured.

I keep my ticket stubs and get T shirts, if they are not a rip off. Most recent was Asia bought from the Perth Scotland gig a few years ago (Phoenix album was about to come out), and two I bought at the Yes Union gig in London Wembly...wearing those to recent Yes gigs is, I must admit, a wee bit of willy waving..it certainly gets you noticed.

I don't buy programs as they are a rip off usually.

:stalks: :stalks: I would never wave my willy at a Yes gig!

That said, my own willy-waving claim to t-shirt fame is owning one of the members of Pale Saints own shirt from the early days. Complete coincidence really. I had a search on eBay for one of their shirts, and the first one up happened to being sold by their ex-guitarist, 'as worn at various of their gigs'. It cost me what it would have cost new, so top deal all round. I wear it quite a bit. They obviously made them to last (it's from c. 1988/89).
