Hi Neil,

Had one of these until quite recently until it died beyond repair. [emoji24]

Just superb. (And still missing it)

However, replaced with the Magnum Dynalab "Etude" FT 101A, and System Sleuth, another old favourite.[emoji106]

No real regrets.... but still missing the looks and the sound of this fabulous bit of kit.

A Classic !!!!!!

Thanks Peter. I had a Pioneer 1250, and then sold it. Daft really.

classic......almost as good looking as a Yamaha cr1020/2020.
a secondhand shop I used to frequent had a selection of the sx series for sale in the mid/late 80s....never shifted em even at stupid low prices as I recalled.

I guess the problem was a sea of black, akai, Aiwa, sansui etc plastic knobbed drek sporting bright led superdrive, twin spontaneous current mosfet drive bullshot.

the rasta who ran the gaff would shout "no silver fronted stuff" whenever anyone entered the shop......

how times have changed.

NIGE.
