The seller writes .....
This is ultra rare. The previous owner went to a lot of trouble and a lot of expense to take this already excellent model to a far higher level through careful updates. Before offering this for sale I sent it to Dr. Bews for his observations. This is what he said:
“This amplifier is no longer an int zero, it is a PAO with somebodies idea of a passive pre section (uses silver wire, noble pot and a common ground at the input using an elna switch close to sockets).
The int zero chassis has been used to house a passive pre (not LFD design) and PA0 (LFD product). There is no screening of the wires (and different grounding) used in the preamplifier section made by somebody else. The amplifier does actually sound quite good.”
Please study the images carefully as these are part of the description. Some original switching has been disabled to permit a shorter, cleaner signal path.
