I seem to have sold my last pair of speakers so I need something to tide me over until I've found something I really want, unless you have the pair I want! Permanent ones would be Kef ref models 2 or 3, celestion A2 or 3, or some nice Focals. Also quite fancy something with ribbons. Not black ash please, piano black is ok.

Temporary ones could be Epos ES22 or similar. Would consider stand mounts with a decent frequency range. The key thing would be I wouldn't want to lose anything when I pass them on which could be very soon!

As I don't drive would need them delivering to London N21.

I have these:

Very good they are too but I've now settled on my Eikona VTL builds so these are surplus to requirements. PM if interested - I could deliver to London for petrol money.

Have considered these before but yours don't have grilles? Issue with young boy in the house.

I do have grilles and a plan as to where the holes under the veneer are. There are some plugs missing on one of the grilles but can obtain these and make holes to fit grilles if you really are interested.

Thanks Grant, that's a better solution - even have the magnets but didn't want to stick them on to the veneer. Good luck with your hunt Lawrence.

Thanks, I haven't ruled these out but that would depend on the price. I imagine to make it worth your while bringing them it would be too high for me. It was the KT3s I really wanted years ago. PM me anyway and I can let you know.

Thanks, again a bit on the small side. If it helps, I've found an 8" woofer or pair of 6" to be the minimum to produce the range I like.

What size room do you have your equipment in

Its a standard 30s semi with the 2 receptions knocked into 1, say 30'x15' the speakers are in the front bay near the windows for domestic reasons firing down the length but I sit about 10 feet away. So front port/sealed preferred, but there's a lot of room to drive.

If the search resumes I have a pair of Harbeth Compact 7 in natural ash ( the only pair ever in that finish ) and some nice Atacama stands.
