Updating A TOM TOM

Does anyone know easiest way to do this ?
I realise although mine works fine I've never updated it in the 8 years I've had it.

Use TomTom home to hrough your PC.
There is a charge for th map updates though.

Does anyone know how to change the 'Home' destination on a TomTom 25? I've done something to mine and it now thinks my home is halfway along the A55; some 250 miles from where it should be. :rolleyes:
