A new ( to me) valve preamp has just arrived.
Having popped the lid I see it has stock Russkie valves - one 6n6p, so I have ordered a JJ Gold ecc99 as possible replacement.

Also it has a 6z4 Russkie valve.

Is there a 'posh' equivalent for this? :)
