Prima Luna Prologue One EL34 integrated valve amp. Satin Silver finish, Line-level inputs.
I purchased this amp new in 2009. It had a grand total of 3 months of saturday morning listening before being packed away during major works on our house. It has remained in its box ever since as I went on my Naim journey :)
I reopened the box yesterday and ran the amp for a few hours without any problems and it sounded excellent. Treble is as articulate as you would expect from a valve amp with absolutely rock solid bass and spot-on timing.
Condition of the amp is mint (I consider it barely run-in). Comes with all original packaging and instructions. Full set of Prima Luna valves, plus a second set of new Svetlana EL34s.
The reviews of the Prologue One were universally excellent and it is a wonderful introduction to the world of valves. It is also a very practical option for someone wanting to give valves a go, thanks to its auto-biasing circuitry (so no need for voltage meters and manual adjustment - just turn on and enjoy).
Price is £675.
I will give preference to a buyer who can collect in person from Oxted, Surrey. The double-box packaging makes shipping an option, but the total weight is over 21kg, so a courier won't be cheap!
