F/S AUDEZE LCD-2 Headphones with Norne/Norse Audio Cable Upgrade

FOR SALE my pair of LCD-2 headphones in shiney Bamboo finish
The LCD-2 needs very little introduction as the model which was instrumental in the company's success
They were bought by me new and are available only because of my upgrading to the LCD-3
They come with the bomb-proof pelikan case, polishing kit documentation and trace graph

Additionally I will include an upgraded litz cable made for me by Trevor Goldman of Norse Audio (now NORNE) which vastly lifts the performance from the stock cable
. This cable is longer than the stock being 3 metres and is somewhat of a bargain in itself due to current price and £ v $ and import taxes

Do these have the Fazor technology upgrades or do they predate that upgrade ?

No. These pre-date the Fazor and have warmer sound.
The Norne cable elevates the detail to beyond Fazor IMHO

Hi Shane I would say that these and the Norne cable are almost as good as my LCD-3 with stock cable. But my LCD-3 have the Norne Vanquish cable which lifts performance even higher
If I did not have the Vanquish I would keep the LCD-2 All of course IMHO
Alot depends on the HP Amp

Do these leak sound at all? My wife seems to object to any small leakage - if you know what I mean?!

In all fairness there is some leakage which is more than made up for with glorious sound.. I listen when SWMBO has retired as she objects to loudspeakers!!:lol:
You will be hard pressed to find closed back HP that don't leak

I remember unpacking my first pair of HE500s, listening to something and thinking wow! Dynamic headphones never seemed the same after.

They're lovely sounding and noticeably better than my HD650s...

You can get micro suede earpads for them.....at a price but the main thing is that you love the sound.....enjoy
