View Full Version : Anyone know Truro, Cornwall ?

Whats it like as a place to live in or near ?
A friend out here is thinking of moving to that area for work and having never been I got wondering what it was like. My knowledge of Cornwall is limited to narrow roads with high hedges that used to make me feel car sick as a kid.
Is it a good place ?

Truro is now a happening city. I grew up in Cornwall and now live in the next county Devon. Cornwall has some beautiful areas and some crap areas like Redruth!

It depends on what he is likes, if he is a city person or not?

Dave - not so much a city person, but a family man wanting a peaceful life - the links Puffin gave seems to show it might give him that !
