Hello to everyone.
This appears to be a friendly site with lots to read and discuss.
I'm a new starter to all things hi fi...but I'm enjoying it.
Have loads of c.d's in my collection but until 9 months ago had nothing decent to listen to them.
Bit the bullet and invested in Naim cd 5i player....Naim Nait 5i amp.
After numerous visits to local hi fi emporiums I decided to match them up to a wonderful pair of Spendor A5's.
As a starter pack I'm pleased with the result.
No doubt I'll eventually upgrade the cd/amp package...The speakers are staying..!
Looking forward to learning more.

Modern Naim can be a good investment for someone, but beware of the expensive upgrade path you'll set on if the bug bites deep. As Naim amps need heavy duty power supplies, I'd look there for a basic future upgrade (Avondale make good ones for Naim too).

Enjoy your Spendors, they have a long pedigree to live up to ;)

And welcome ' your Naim set up should keep you happy for a while ' don't be in to much of a rush to change anything ' get to know it and enjoy it .

But you might get the Vinyl bug ' LP12 to match your Naim ' maybe .
