View Full Version : intro
Just wanted to say hi to the community- Have been into audio sine I was 12, some 40 years now. Recently refurbed a vintage Micro Seiki BL-51 mated with an Acos Lustre GST-1 with a Denon 103R. I think it was a nice combo and have been growing my record collection bit by bit. I am presently looking for a new phono stage with enough gain to drive the Denon's .25 output. While I would love a tube stage, I just dont see one having enough gain to support the low output.
Hi Phil Welcome to AoS. Seiki stuff is highly regarded as is the Denon cart. Plenty here use a valve stage to drive them too. Our own Firebottle, s one will as will plenty more so fear not.

Hello Phil. Welcome to AOS.
You should be able to find a tube phono stage to suit the Denon MC. Why not try starting a thread in the Analogue Arts section and ask what others have used.
There's a lot going on here, so feel free to join in the chat. The members are friendly.
Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.
