Nice 10.5 inch tonearm, a Jelco SA-250BV, this one with an oil damper fitted inside.

In Polish, it's one of these ... http://www.highfidelity.pl/artykuly/0609/jelco.html

Beautifully built, this comes with both light and heavy counterweights, standard Jelco headshell and packaging. I am a big fan of 'mid-sized' tonearms, giving most of the subjective benefits of a 12-incher, but still keeping the dynamics of the 9-inch ones, ime. I've really enjoyed this arm for the last year or so, using everything from high compliance mm carts through to heavyweight SPUs. I estimate that its effective mass is in the medium range, certainly not excessively light or too heavy, anyway.

PLEASE READ. Due to its extra length (over the standard 9 inch arms), please check that your turntable can accomodate this before buying. Most will need a non-standard arm-board. It's a normal Jelco/Linn mounting hole, but spindle to pivot distance is mentioned on the web as being 251 mm. However, I think that may be for Stevenson alignment ... I have it at 255.5, which gives perfect Baerwald with a SPU.

Price is £165, plus shipping at cost.

(Tonearm cable not included)

It also has a small damper trough inside (unscrew the main pillar top cap). Never used it, but may be a useful feature for high compliance carts or Deccas?

Here, looking good with a SPU fitted.
