Yes Allen it sure does and it is takes 4 men to lift it !! Just wish someone could tell me what wood it is .

It looks like an old bit of elm. Quite difficult to tell with old polished wood.

Very nice table though whatever the wood.

Certainly looks a bit red for elm but I do have some that colour out in the barn.

The top has broken up beautifully and has lovely patina.

I made this from some old planks I found in the barn. Even redder! (it's yew)
