This has had the Rock Grotto upgrade of caps and diodes to improve its already excellent performance.

Only got this up as i want to purchase a dac headphone amp for my rig and am not using the main system much

The upgrade cost £70 in parts alone. Say £200 plus £10 towards postage. No box but will be well packed.

Plenty info re both the buffer and the upgrade. Ive been using it between cd and amp but can be used in various places depending on your needs.

Bump for one of the best buffers out there. It uses the "mu-vista" 6112 tube, the same tube used in the kW series. It was a ltd to about 5000 units and not that many have been upgraded like this. The tubes have plenty life in them and are available

Very nice buffer - I had it on loan and I sorely missed the extra focus and definition that this brought to my system when it went back to Grant. :(
I didn't want the extra touch of valve loveliness though, so I went solid state with Jez.

This is by far the best valve buffer I have heard.
