For the first time in weeks the daytime temperature has, just, crept above freezing. It has been sleeting/snowing for most of the day and while most of the roads have cleared there remains 3 to 4 inches of lying slushy snow on most gardens and pavements.
Through all this our window cleaner has just turned up and done everyones windows, up a ladder in this weather, unbelievable! All we need now is for the binnies to turn up and empty the bins, we haven't seen them since before Xmas but something tells me we will have a while to wait yet.:rolleyes:
