Hi I'am new here and a lover and believer from open Baffle loudspeakers wich I own one by myself.
I am very triggered by a new loudspeaker named Club27 after the many great singers and performers who died at the early age of 27.
At Sixmoons I read a review of there newest creation called Jimi after Jimi Hendrikx by Marja and Henk.
It is an open Baffle designed by Robert Bastanis who has earned lot of rave reviews from his creations.
It seems to be exceptional value.
I am curious what you think of it.

Regards

Clemstage.

I have not heard them personally. I did read the 6 Moons review a week or so ago, as I was merely curious about them, as well as the company itself.

Another OB design I may get some first hand experience with in a month or so is the Pure Audio Project speakers. OB's have been on the fringe of my radar for sometime now, I just never took the punt.

Hi Frazeur,

I already have a open Baffle system, however this one is a very different one using a 12 inch widebander, horntweeter and a 15 inch active woofer in a sealed box all of this without a classic crossover. They 100db so ideal for connecting to set valve
amplifier.
They are sold by a dutch company Club-27.com in diy kit or completely build after the design from Robert Bastani who already won a few Bluemoon Awards.
I have spoken already with club27 about the Jimi and made an appointment for next week.
So I let you know.

Very good Clim, please do keep us updated. While I haven't inquired about any of their speakers, it is interesting that one can purchase some of them as kits and build them yourself. I like that aspect, hence my interest with the Pure Audio Project line as well. Enjoy!
