FS: Xiang Sheng Dac 01bII

Nice little Chinese Dac for sale. I've had this for quite some time and for a good while I used it in my main system. More recently it has been used in a 2nd system, but I will soon no longer have the room for more than one system so am moving it on.

As far as I am aware it is similar to the early model Xiang Sheng 01A, but without the valve output option.

I am asking £65 for it which is about half what it cost new.

I've got this one's 1st cousin.
And discussions with Frank indicate a very similar sound.
In fact he bought this one after hearing mine.

You will be amazed at the sound. Quite stunning.
I'd not heard a DAC south of £2k rrp to beat it.

Well, Grant me ol' mucker, it is neither my DAC nor my FS thread ;) -- but I feel sure that it does!! :D

Seriously, this is gonna be a truly great DAC.
I was stunned when I first heard my version (very similar to the one Frank is selling). It's a mile and a half ahead of anything else at anywhere near the price.
Mine easily bested a MDAC and a Rega DAC. Just blew them away.
Oh, and Frank is a great guy - 100% confidence can be placed on this.

There's a "cheap Chinese DAC " thread on the Wigwam (Computer audio section) where I recently suggested a XiangSheng DAC. Several people have now tried one and have been very seriously impressed.
