OK, so tonight I have been given the job of being the 'official' photographer for an event at Moon On The Water, an alternative vegan venue on the seafront in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. There are to be a total of four rock bands performing through till about midnight with strobes and smoke. I guess the photography will be a doddle then. This I would not want to cover with a manual film based SLR and manual focus lenses. Fortunately, I don't have to.
Providing I survive the evening with my ears intact I will post some of the images tomorrow (Sunday 9th April 2017)
At least I get to listen to some 'live' rock music very close to the stage. For those who may wish to know, I shall be using a Nikon D600 DSLR with an MBD14 battery grip and additional battery, a Nikon 180mm f2.8 lens and also a Sigma 105mm lens. ISO will be 3200. Try doing that with film ;)
Secretly looking forward to this.
