Guys,
It's obvious that the stock PSU is introducing noise - easy to check when needle is in the inner grooves, and you play with the switch ON/OFF.
But I think the problem is that the transformer is inside the TT.

Isn't it enough just to move it out, and put something on its place with the same weight (not to break the turntable geometry, that is very precise calculated).

I mean, ONLY the transformer, everything else to stay INSIDE the TT.

Why external expensive PSU when this can be done for $0?

You will need to put it in a case, so it costs more than $0.
