View Full Version : Hi from Bangalore
Hi all of you,
I am Jayant going by the handle Jaybe that stands for my initials JB. I have lived in Bangalore for past 25 years and sadly witnessed it decline from a naturally air-conditioned garden city to a city of traffic jams and garbage dumps.
Got into DIY audio for past five years mainly dabbling in Speakers. Happy to have stumbled upon "The Art of Sound" and look forward to participating.
Thanks!
Jayant

Hello Jayant. Welcome to AOS.
If you enjoy DIY, you could feature anything you are working on in the Drawing Board section. We like projects.
There's lots going on here, so take a look around and join in any chat that interests you.

Martin,
Thanks !
I have recently acquired a pair of Beyma 15XA38ND Coaxials after giving up a chase for vintage Tannoy Monitor Gold Drivers. So now looking at various possibilities to house these. Also in the process of building a pair of AMT Tweeters. Couple of smaller projects on the sideline as well.

Hi Hifinutt,
Thanks ! I must admit I had not heard the Lion Track earlier. Normally my kids point out the newer good music ! Briefly heard it on my laptop through your link. Must hear it on the System.

and watch the film too!
Welcome to AoS Jayant,
I haven't heard of your newly acquired drive units, but we have many Tannoy fans here, some who may be able to suggest some ideas for speaker design.
Let us know how you get on,
Enjoy the Forum

and watch the film too!
Hi Hifinutt,
I watched the film ! It is an accurate depiction of how life was three decades ago and many places it hasn't changed much. One tends to get a desensitized to remain functional in this country. This movie does manage to reverse it. A great achievement. Thanks for recommending.

Hi Barry,
Thanks !
I noticed someone has built BLH using the very same drivers. I will ask for some advice.
