View Full Version : Shibata Stylus-ed AT95 cartridge
As above this combo is seeing little use due to my love affair with my Shure.
Low hrs(under100) probably a fair bit less tbh but to be safe. Tracks at 2 gm and is very good. Headshell is one of the prettiest and best carbon ones ive tried.

Cost over $188 dollars new plus inport and delivery from US, but yours for £110 for cart. Headshell sold.

How about £105 delivered. .?? Would cost you about £180 imported unless you got lucky
Don't be put off by the fact it is bas d on an AT95.
The stylus really lifts the performance of this cartridge.

It does Kevin. Surprising but it shows how good the generator is for such a small amount. Stylii are the dear things really. They dont come up often which is testament.

im surprised it hasn't gone too,i had the HE stylus as you know grant and that was very good,the shabata stylus takes it up another gear.

Surprised this hasn't sold Grant, I have an AT12S cartridge with Shibata stylus and it sounds awesome, your AT 95 is very similar. Bargain in my humble opinion.

Thanks Nigel, and yes its surprising no-one is going for this. I guess folk have preconceptions on the mighty 95e and dont realise how good a base cart it actually is.

No idea, but dont think its what he,d be looking for and its probably just too dear... wants under 100. Its already too cheap tbh. I will just keep it. Its very good so no harm. It was on par with the ortophon imo. Might put a wood case on it actually. 40 notes and it will be even better.

Thanks Grant - I have her fitted to an ADC headshell ,tracking at just under 2 grammes and she's lovely and sounds beautiful. :eyebrows:
