For sale a Time Step HE Technics 1200/1210 Low Noise Power Supply.

This was bought originally for a Technics PSU review, but was not included, it was bought from an AoS Member.

The PSU is a 220/240 volt UK/Europe version and I am including a suitable 1m Mark Grant 1.0 power cable (a substantial upgrade over the original cable) as the original one supplied has gone missing. I am afraid there was no instruction sheet with this. Also missing is the power connecting plug. This was a 4 pin locking type. This is a better PSU than the original basic Time Step PSU, and would be an upgrade on it.

Cosmetic condition is very good with just a few small marks here and there, the fascia is clean.

I want £300 for this item and the Mark Grant cable. Postage/packaging I think won't be more than £10. UK/Ireland only sale and Payment Paypal Gift please.

Cant believe this hasn't sold. Bargain for someone at this price to give their Techie a boost.

Lots of good stuff listed in private exhibitions is not selling, or taking awhile.

Bump.

Wouldn't this go really well with the mint 1210 that just sold?

I'm sure it would, but I need an arm and cartridge first!

Ok - but you won't get this at anywhere near this price in the future.

There was a Technics arm for sale on here a while back - not sure if it's still available....

OK... I'm tempted...

Does the 1210 need any modification to use this? Is the missing cable easy to get hold of?

If the answers are no (or yes, but it's easy) and yes, I'll have it!

Message the seller - he'll know. I only know how expensive they are and that they have a good reputation.

The cable I am including is better than what was with it, which was average quality cable. Yes you will need to fit it, or get someone to fit it for you.

Here are instructions, the principle is the same in the fitting of all these PSUs.

http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?8118-How-to-Connect-an-External-Dc-Supply-to-the-SL-1200-1210

And here https://www.originlive.com/images/pdfs/Instruction-Manuals/Technics-Owner-Manuals/Technics-Power-Supply-Instructions.pdf

The plug type you will need to connect the cable from the turntable to the PSU is this type https://electricscooterparts.com/batterychargerconnectors.html 8th one down.

To get most out of this removing the original PSU from under the platter is best.

I will supply a basic UK plug to IEC cable so you can hook the PSU up to the mains.

Hope the above helps.
