one sold few days ago on eBay, i posted a link to it on the bargains on eBay thread, think it went for just over £300 with an ortofon VMS30 mk2, a sure cart and a couple of decent head shells

A mate of mine bought it a few weeks back after i recommended it. He was complaining that it sounded shit so i told him to bring it round. The VTA looked like it was a ski jump and the cables he was using looked like sandwich ties. I gave him a pair of better quality cables and set the Sony up correctly. What a dream to set up !! So easy !! Anyway, after I'd finished we gave it a spin on an old Marantz amp I've got with some DL6s speakers.

Superb unit. If you can get one I'm pretty sure it would challenge almost any realistically priced TT out there.
