? Master list of companies releasing R2R tapes

Just wondered if this subject had been covered and wondered if it would be a good idea to make a master list of suppliers so that new and old users alike of R2R machines would be able to quickly look for new / old titles?

I've never seen a list anywhere. It would be nice to have one. I'm always scared when I get one off of eBay.

Great idea but there are people who have and know good sources but will not divulge to others for obvious reasons.

Only place I know is Ebay as has been mentioned.

Now over 530 tapes available on commercial release - varying prices UDS150 to 475 (plus VAT if from the USA and shipping). I have bought some Tape Project tapes - these are now USD475 plus shipping plus VAT i.e. USD600+ when shipped to the UK.

I have bought a number of tapes from Eb*y - some excellent, some less so - some with provenance and some without. I have bought a number from hardbluesgarden and woodstockzagreb - all excellent sounding, but some definitely better than others. Original production masters have been around the USD500-600 mark, if you can stomach the cost.
