FS Soundsmith Otello hand built fixed coil Cart (less than 10hrs)

Trying to clear some space.

First up is a fine big sounding Soundsmith Otello hand built high output fixed coil cart, to be used with an MM phono stage. Less than 10hrs use so can only get better. RRP is £450, looking for £290 delivered. Link to specs below

Soundsmith are fine craftsmen though. Shame no one has experience of them. Keep bumping. Someone will take a punt eventually.

Perhaps not widely heard, but they are very good.

I had a Boheme for a while and it was very good - these go straight in to MM phonos.

I used to have the same cart, Othello. Overal sound quality is much above its price. I prefer it over denon 103r

I have the Carmen, which is the next in the range. I think it's a fabulous cartridge, smooth, detailed and really easy to listen to. If this is anywhere near the Carmen, it's a proper bargain. I believe that Soundsmith will re-tip any cartridge of theirs for about 20% of the retail price, regardless of whether you're the first owner or not. Surely something to consider?
