For Sale
Consonance Cyber 100 Signature Valve Amp.
I’ve owned this amp for approximately 3 years but have recently developed that well known “itchy ears syndrome” and found myself the owner of a huge solid state amp that I’m quite taken with at present. Unfortunately, my modest listening space means that I can’t keep both amps and even if I could hauling the new heavyweight beast in and out of the rack is just too much to consider doing with any regularity.
The Consonance has been a real joy to own, it sounds great and can really boogie along and its practical in that its self biasing and also has plenty of imputs. It’s been faultless in its performance and has provided a real window into quality valve amplification. Its also been upgraded with some fancy Svetlana EL34s, Shuguang Treasure CV181-Z, and a couple of Mullard ECC81’s as well. I recently bought a matched quad of Jellyfish Audio EL34's (£57.00) which I’ve never got around to fitting but which will be included in the sale price. As can be seen below it also has a very fetching chrome plated valve cage which I don't think was standard. also
I've a box and user manual. The only slight downside is that the remote control has a very fussy volume buttom which mostly chooses not to work, however I've checked with the UK importers and a new remote can be purchased from them for £35.00 if its an issue.
I will not post this amp and would much prefer collection from my place in Liverpool where it can be demo'ed at the same time. I do seem to be travelling a fair bit with work at present so may be able to deliver if that helps secure a sale (Leeds? Hull? Stoke? All seems regular visits at the moment)
Price is £475.00 firm for now but id possibly also consider a swop for a decent set of bookshelf speakers maybe
cheers for looking
Now the Consonance blurb & some pictures.

The Cyber100 signature deliver a taste of luscious tube sound compared with solid state gear at the same price. This tube amp is mothered by M100plus, the highly reviewed push-pull set Internationally, which has been our best selling integrated tubeamp since the company was found in 1994. It now comes with 5 input prs, remoteable selector switch and volume pot. It uses low negative feedback with choke design, so no further bias regulation would be needed for optimal tube regulation and sound. At 40 watts, the Cyber100 signature also comes with a power transformer and circuitry that is over spec and built to easily accept the extra current of the KT88. The EL34 can also be used.
