I see both output black terminals are labelled as GND - does this mean that they can be commoned and a single speaker connected between the two red OUT terminals in a bridged configuration to drive a mono speaker???

post deleted - I was having a moment there, Firebottle below is correct, though IMHO it would be a strange way to get a 7W output mono amp...Could work ok if you're using a 16 Ohm speaker?

I can see no problem why that wouldn't work, however you would have to invert the signal going into one of the inputs.

Generally when used in bridge mode a two channel amplifier theoretically can give 4 times the output power, but that is wholly dependant on the rating of the power supply. If the supply is only just adequate for normal 2 channel 2x 3.5W then the max is going to be 7W.

My guess is you would probably get a bit more but then run into clipping.

Thanks for the replies - was just looking at something to run my one remaining good Townshend Glastonbury.
Regarding the input, does one not simply common the left and right together???

Only my thoughts but i think you would use + on one amp and - on other as speaker connections and tie the other 2 together. Someone will now say thats rubbish lol. Think i would just get a bigger bridgeable amp

I think not myself, because you'd be connecting one positive output directly to ground, thereby shorting out the transformer winding?
