Just received this mailer: http://preview.mailerlite.com/a2m1t9/567324488551629993/l9i5/

Was anyone else here aware of this show? Sounds interesting and a real treat for vinyl and T/T aficionados!

Went to last years show at Heathrow. Great show but I'm not going to Manchester.

Ah, now you see Manchester suits me, as I'm in North Wales! Good to hear though, that the show was worth attending. Did you buy much vinyl at the Heathrow one, Clive? :)

I did last year's show at Heathrow and felt that is was a very good start, in a good venue that encouraged international visitors, so I felt that the concept was proved and worth developing. The main problem for this year's Styl:us Show is that it clashes with the Wigwam show at Scalford, so a huge number of people will be going to Scalford, and probably not to Manchester as well. If it wasn't for that severe calendar clash, I would be doing Styl:us again, but I have a feeling that it will be rather quiet in Manchester.

I didn't attend last years, but I'll go along to this as it's more accessible for me.

Manchester is only a spit away for me. I can't drive atm but I have a vinyl buddy who would probably enjoy this so we'll see what we can do.

Edit. Cheers Marco for the heads up.

No worries, matey. I'd never even heard of this show before, although I'm aware of those previously organised by The Chester Group, and know Justin, the organiser, so might well tag along myself :)

Not coming to Scalford then, Marco? I have room full of Japcrap (including two very rare turntables) and some 5 foot tall speakers to tempt you with! ;)

I'd love to Adam, as I always enjoy it, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to fit it in. We're having a new kitchen fitted, and the area has been reduced to a shell (ceiling down, walls back to bare brick, etc), so that (rather major) project is taking up pretty much all of our time!

Therefore, if I get to any shows this year, they'll mainly be local, such as this one in Manchester and Cranage Hall. NEBO 8 is far enough away yet that the kitchen might be finished by then (hopefully)!

Hi Marco.
Bought a few albums, one of which turned out to be crap. Going to Bristol tomorrow, so may look for some more.
