I bought this last year, with the intention of using in my second system. Too many amps at the moment, so this has to go, unfortunately.

It was built by a competent electronics technician, and is immaculate in construction. The original owner passed it on to his son-in-law, who sold it to me. It comes with two complete sets of valves (EL84 Harma Cryos and Golden Dragons, and ECF80 Mullards and Chelmers), plus manual and mains lead.

Selling for £450, including shipping in UK.

The current price for the kit is £810, and World Designs charge another £220 if you want it built.

The amp is really quite compact, sounds great and is in immaculate condition.

Unlike earlier versions, this has a 'soft start' (delay) on power-up, which reduces stress on the valves and increases their life.

I'm always on the look out for a second power amp to do duty should owt go wrong with my current amps but don't need an integrated otherwise I'd have it.

I have to say that this is a bargain, less than the cost of 4 x SR fuses that folks have been drooling over.

What a lovely 'starter' valve amp for someone; or just a nice amp. Its got good provenance and professional build quality, pristine appearance and a reasonable price.
I use to have one of these and they hold their value really well.
