I've purchased a refurbished mobile phone. The order was placed a few days ago. The phone is on its way.

Just received this message from the vendor. Does this sound a tad suspect to you members?...

That may be a Chinese seller Shane. They do have 'forwarding' arrangements over here, where stock is kept in the UK, but sold from China. Do as they say and I reckon you'll be OK mate. Keep us informed.

Got this back from the vendor...

S.

the reason for doing this is that to prevent the phone to be used from other
people if it doesn't reach to you in case if it get lost of stolen, is nothing to feel that way,
other people email me everyday,, and there no problem.

if you still not happy please refuse to accept the parcel and it will come back to me,,
and i will give you full refund,,

I hope you understand.

Sounds like a seller that has been stung before and is now super cautious.

If it's a scam, I'd fall for it. (knowing I had eBay/PayPal buyer protection to fall back on)
