Just found this forum. I build stuff. I like stereos and guns...what can I say? Bows are cool too. Oh, and cars....you know all the "guy stuff". I'm an old guy.

Thanks guys.....stereo is...The Truth, Pass Labs ACA, Cal. Audio labs transport and tube DAC, Transcendent Sound phono stage, cheap TT that replaced (and sounds as good as) my VPI with Grado arm (yes, I had a Grado Laboratory Standard Reference Tonearm) and VPI outboard motor, Crown XLS powering a FFRS Mark 4:20i sub, speakers are my Horns with Heil Air Motion Transformers. Music is all over the place.....anything but "rap".

Nice stuff Ed. Lucky you. I used to be into the blues, solely, but old age has mellowed me.:) Listen to anything with a good tune... Bit of Country, some Bluegrass etc... tis all good.

you the guy who makes the truth? name rings a bell.

No probs Ed. As long as your not promoting then feel free to clear up anything technical. Sure if you go over the line the boss will notice :)

Hello Ed. Welcome to AOS.

Seems you like the same sort of stuff I also like. Not allowed guns here though (shame :)).

The Heil AMT's are good. Always fancied trying a set. Heard them sounding great a few times.

Tell us if you have any further plans for your system and feel free to join in the chat.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.
