I have various sets of headphones- just looking for something to use with my IPhone 7 during my lunch break if I go out for a walk.
Budget probably up to £150
Need to be wifi i guess robin... i take it ios new phones are still not out? Ive a set of sony bluetooth ones that are overear/ on ear type but seperate at same time. They are good. You can use them for a while if you want. I dont need em currently..just fitted new covers

If its an iphone7 it doesnt have a jack socket. The airpods seem to be available...in 6 weeks wait apparently £159 though.

Yes it's an iPhone 7 so no jack socket although they supply an adapter, I have a set Bose and Sennheiser but they are over ear, really just for lunch time use walking about.

So in summary then the apple iphone 7;
No replaceable battery, no SD card slot, and now no 3.5.mm socket...which leaves you with blue tooth, so I was going to suggest that a pair of aptx compatible headphones would be best, except it would appear that apple refused to adopt the protocol...
I'm sure beats will be coming out with some overpriced compatible solution soon...;)

No prob.. they are surprisingly good. Used to us them walking dog. Feel like they will fall of but they dont.

They come with a wide variety of tips, I found mine sound best with the supplied 'comply' foam tips, they fit and isolate better than the rubber ones...
Marshall mode eq buds are very good. Well made too. Got a set of those too.

+1 for the Soundmagic headphones. Very good VFM. On my second pair only because my first became became tangled in the front wheel of my bicycle.

I use the ONKYO earphones, very good indeed. Very good.
Basically they use a much larger driver than most earphones and the actual bit that goes into your ear is a rubber grommet off the driver at an angle.
I'm probably not making any sense , but I can't seem to link an Ebay add, I don't know why.
Very deep and articulate bass for ear phones and everything else is good from there up to the treble

Yes, the Marshall ones are the same.. set at about 45 degrees due to size etc. Surprisingly comfortable and secure though which surprised me as i usually have difficulty keeping buds in.

Yes that sounds about right. I've got the older version and if there is a fault, it's that they can be a wee bit heavy

Flare Audio are about for 100 quids at the moment. Really good 'phones. I bought mine off here and have had excellent back up from flare when I lost a piece. Highly recommend.

I have a pair of the top legendary denon inner ear phones (need tu check model, forgotten now) which I've considered selling v as I can't tolerate phones any more they've been sitting unused for almost 3 years in a box.

Yes, the reviews are a bit mixed, there are some good reviews however most the Amazon ones are negative

Sound magic e10s I think is the model I have...they are great vfm and sound pretty good.
Thomman sell superlux in ear cans that are pretty good.
I always return to my Sennhiesers...nothing too exotic price wise but I just get on with the senn house sound. Well made/sturdy and pretty neutral( well maybe a tad on the warm side but all the better for non fatigue long term listening IMHO)

I have SM E10s too. I've found them to be very bright but some of that could be my source. Huawei P9.
The sennheisser I have are Great. I also prefer them.

I think I've found the model, early (fully isolating) ACH 751 in silver. I also have a Cowon player I used with the phones - will check model - take photos and put in private exhibitions.
I personally cannot justify expensive headphones for secondary use and 'walking around' . So...
For about £30, these are unbeatable for conventional phones:

The Sound Magic stuff is good but not better, IMO, than the above item
My favourites are the FiiO EX1, which cost about £50 and beat almost everything I've heard (except for some £400ish Sony in ears my friend has) . The FiiO is about to be updated too... Promises to be even better and still £50

Me either. For around the £30 - £40 mark my vote would be for Zero Audio Carbo Tenore. Really good neutral sound and so small and light that you forget you're wearing them.

Yamaha eph 100. By far the best imho.
