suggestions for Toshiba sr 370 feet

As per the thread title my sr370 need new feet, any ideas?

My advice is plentiful on this subject lol

First off - try and get a spare SR370 for parts. They work better than anything else I tried.

Second option- Isofeet are very good to but you will have to manipulate the TT because the threads are different sizes. I used thread converters. Glued them into the holes where the original threads are and all went well. Except for the super glue running and ruining the TT. Walpurgis has a better, non run solution.
Put a longer bolt through the feet too otherwise the TT will rest on the foam.

Very good sounding solution though.

Third option - worst

Get something like this

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302218931129

Put a bolt through and you're done.

I found the lack of spring/suspension/damping did affect the sound but a return to the original feet cured this.

Thanks for the advice Oliver,
Will try to repair original feet, my stupid fault, tried adjusting height with
Turntable Insitu and managed to snap rear foot of by turning it the wrong way:doh:

I've not tried it, but maybe Technics SL-1200/1210 feet might fit. The Techie is a bit lighter though.

Looked at the techie feet and yeah possibly not strong enough also I think the thread diameter is different, the sr370 uses an m4 thread.
Re the cones, it's the height, the original feet are 35mm high.
The only thing I've found that fit the bill are spikes and moulded plastic furniture feet, and I don't Think I could live with the look of either of em.

Did the threaded part break or did the rubbery insert tear apart?. I ham fistedly tore the rubber part on one of mine but after a bit of trial and error found that Gorilla glue did the job, just make sure everything is square when you apply the glue and tape it in position and allow at least a couple of hours to set. Bare in mind that the glue expands while curing so don't go mad with it. Hope this helps.

Could an M4 nut and a washer on the broken end of the threaded part be used to give a larger surface to glue?. Gorilla glue is a good filler and with a bit of persuasion might hold things together.

Might try and source some better springs before i try to strip the last stubborn one.
wont matter to much if i can't as its the only one that still sits true,if that makes sense.
