View Full Version : What is this (ADC?) tone arm?

I got an arm on an old Oak Audio deck a while back. It looks like the one on this thread asking the same question.

It's similar to an LMF-2 or ALT-1 but not the same since they have the anti skate under the arm rest, not at the side and a different bearing housing.

Any ideas? Sounds decent with an XLM III on it.

Looks like a LMF-2 - but it would appear that some came with the bias below and some to the side

the lmf 2 had the detachable head shell, looks like that?

I HAVE AN ALT 1, decent arm with goldring 1022.

It's the same as my old LMF2.

I believe the original LMF-2 is as pictured then production was cheapened with everything mounted on the front (the latter ones arm rest and bias looks the same almost as a Linn Basik)
