Hi Everyone

lapperman is something I've been called for quite a few years, amongst other things. probably started just after a got my first Ducati back in 1997, 748sp. Had a few since then 998r, 999r and some others in between. Stopped riding now after falling off in Reigate High Street, Low speed, High bruise count.

Always been interested in Music and Hi-Fi. one of the things I noticed on this forum was a lot of mentions of the things I still like to read about.

Yamaha NS1000M being one of them, mine purchased back in 1979 from Billy Vee. Never felt the need to change. At that time with LP12, Mission 774 arm, Supex 901.

Still have a LP12 but it's a bit like Trigger's Broom, 4 heads and 2 handles... now Aro and Lyra Etna for the Vinyl.

Also have a few Mana frames, various sizes and Ref wall frame for the LP12,

In the middle of changing back to a Naim set-up but not there yet.

Amplification at the moment is a Revox B780 receiver just been serviced and realigned, sounds marvellous. Need to work out what to do with it.

Hope to be an active member of the forum

Hello Dean. Welcome to AOS.

Yes. We have a few bikers. I'm one of them (too old 'n feeble for big stuff these days :)).

NS1000's have a bit of a following here, as does the 774 arm.

Take a look around the site, there's plenty going on and join in anything that interests you.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.
