View Full Version : Wanted - KEF B200 SP1054 Mid Bass & T27 SP1032 Tweeter

Hi guys

Decided to refurbish a battered pair of KEF Calinda's (rare at this side of the pound) but found that 1 of the B200 drivers was submited to some kind of torture that included reducing the diameter of the cone behind the suspension (?!) :doh::mental:

So.. I'm looking to find one b200 (preferably the large magnet sp1054) and also a T27 tweeter to replace another one with burnt voice coil.

Anyone able to help? Thanks in advance!

Felipe, make sure whoever you buy from tests their drivers thoroughly before you part with your money.

Hi Andrew, thanks for the advice, point taken for general good sense! ;)

You cannot imagine the facepalm when removing the B200 and seeing a reduced diameter cone (cut with scissors!) hidden behind the suspension's roll margin! :stalks:

Not sure if this comment is appropriate. Any items bought from Members here are unlikely to be sub-standard, as it would be reported immediately.

We like to think our Members are honest, act with integrity and are above that sort of thing.

Still looking, a kind member of this forum has one SP1039 kept for me, but I'd like to get the correct version as they have different cone excursions / damping factors..

I was agreeing with your comments on this thread when someone suggested to a buyer that they make sure the seller tests the drivers.

Oh! Sorry Andy :doh: Well, looking to bring back to life my long stashed away speakers..


2 x T27 Tweeter --> Kef Calinda
1 x SP1054 Mid Bass --> Kef Calinda

1 x B&O S45 woofer

Plus 2 woofers for a pair of Sony's ULM 7300, but that's a different story altogether!

Found the woofer for the Beovox speakers, still looking for a T27 tweeters and the B200 driver too (SP1039 or SP1054)... :rolleyes:
