I had one of these amps that I modified and it sounded pretty good. I never got around to doing the battery mod, but I tweaked the SMPS as much as I could.

Be careful how you send this, couriers will have strict rules about sending acid batteries, for good reason, in this case it really isn't health and safety gone mad!
