A lot of years ago now I acquires some rather nice speaker cables from cartridge giant Ortofon. There were three in the range the designation of which i simply can't remember. I worked my way up from the white through grey to top of the range blue, it being a litz type and a sod to terminate. They were all flat cables making them perfect for beneath carpet installations. They did the job well though I sold them on the advice of a dealer when I bought Exposure amplification from him. I have never seen these cables discussed on any forums and wondered if there was anyone out there still using this type of cable?

Ortofon used to market a range of speakers too many years ago.
These are model 445:

A friend of mine uses flat grey-coloured 4-conductor Ortofon speaker cables with his tri-wired Impulse H2 speakers. And yes, the cables to his left hand speaker run under a rug placed between the two speakers without a noticable 'bulge'. :)
