Hi Guys

I'm looking to have a suitable plinth made for my Techy and would like some ideas and thoughts on best type to build. Ive confused myself to death with website research so hoped some practical help from SP10 mk 2 users on here would help. I would like to use it for 12" and 9" arms so changeable armboard required. Don't mind if slate/wood etc so fire away.

All help gratefully accepted

A :)

The sp10 is a godsend when it comes to plinthing - it generates virtually zero noise and seems (according to opinion) to be equally happy in a light or heavy plinth. Personally I have it in a very heavy plinth that was originally made to sump, ameliorate the awful noise (in comparison) generated by a Lenco. As such it might be overkill at 50kg but it works very well.

The obsidian base originally supplied with the deck doesn't have such good reviews soundwise so maybe avoid a material with similar properties.

I'm sure everyone has their favourites!
