well after the wife clearly didn't like the dynaudios I got recently, I have managed to get hold of a pair of Neat Ultimatum mf5. The problem now being my Moon Ace Neo doesn't seem to have enough power for them.
So im looking for advise on what to get next, I am looking for a streamer & amp (200w?) setup in as minimum number of boxes possible so maybe 2 boxes as I don't think there is a one box solution with enough power.
I think I can get £2500 for the moon, so that would be the limit on spend.

I liked the look of the bel canto stuff as its small, but couldn't see how to do it in 2 boxes.

Depends on how attached you are to the neo, or the new speakers. Its always difficult to use single boxes as they are ultimately limited

Ok, then you will only have a very few if that to choose from, so you might have to consider more boxes, or have a compromise re sound. Some add on boxes dont have to be huge or messy.

I've decided to get some meridian bits again as they are about to release a new control device a 218 and then I shall plug that into a meridian g57 power amp which should give me plenty guts for the neats
