Amazing value. A whole lot of speaker for 2499 and that finish..:smoking:

I'll post another pic showing the drivers in a bit. Trouble is, Photobucket is taking around 3 hours per pic. Oh for Fibre Broadband !!

It isn't your broadband, That is just what photobucket is like now unless you pay.

I agree that it is Photobucket, very slow to load and do anything but that coupled with our Broadband speed of only 1.25 thingies, makes it very laborious.

I really like this Z range from Quad as they do sound very good indeed and that finish is very appealing. Not so keen on the looks of the S series, though they do sound good.

Just did a Gooogle image search to see them sans grilles. That's a helluva lot of speaker for the money. Finish is amazing too. BTW it's lovely to see the "Something Solid" stands in the background. I always liked the look of them.

There - that didn't take me more than a couple of hours to download.

Kevlar coned drivers, double roll surround and ribbon tweeter.

Yes, Something Solid XF stands. I also like them because they sound good and under a larger speaker, they almost disappear in a way that large mass loaded stands do not.
